This is a contract position located in Phoenix, Arizona.
Job Summary:
Participate in all facets of the System Development Life Cycle Provide production support for corporate Internet and intranet applications that have been developed in C#, ASP 3.0, ASP.NET, and SQL. Perform analysis, design requirements, and develop project plans within several departments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in code reviews
- Re-factor systems and migrate legacy ASP applications to integrate old and new platforms of existing websites for the external client
- Work with business users to define requirements and architect technical solutions
- Perform unit and integration testing, document systems, and train users
- Document on a daily basis work for that day and during team meetings
Qualifications:
- Good team player
- Emphasis on n-tier C#/ ASP.NET development and some SQL Server 2000 programming
- Solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming concepts, theory and practices
- Must have experience testing own code while going through code reviews
- Excellent written and verbal skills
